Death to Word? Word!

by James G. Beldock on April 11, 2012

Tom Scocca’s got a great piece in Slate about why Microsoft Word has to go. Despite Microsoft’s efforts to make of it a document Lingua Franca, it is developing the cruft and mildew of a legacy format. Check out Microsoft Word is cumbersome, inefficient, and obsolete. It’s time for it to die. Me? These days I mostly use Sublime Text 2, unless I absolutely have to open Word.
